# Build access and calendar density

Once the right investors have been identified, help the founder create enough high-quality investor conversations.

Strong fundraising materials and clear introduction messages should be ready before asking connectors for help.

<Info>
  Access works when the founder’s materials are strong enough for a connector to forward and for an investor to accept the meeting.

  <Tab title="Why This Matters">
    ### Access is not only a network problem

    After identifying the right investors, founders need enough relevant investor calls to build momentum. The method may change based on the fundraising stage, but strong round materials matter at every stage because they improve conversion throughout the fundraising process.

    When the pitch deck, company positioning, and introduction message stand out, connectors are more willing to forward the opportunity and investors are more willing to accept the first call.

    Founders often assume they lack access when the actual problem is that their materials are not yet compelling enough to share.

    ## Choose the Right Access Strategy

    The reseller should adapt the access strategy to the founder’s fundraising stage.

  <Tab title="How Metal Supports This">
    Metal helps founders identify people within their network who may provide a path to a target investor.

    By connecting LinkedIn and Gmail, Metal can surface relevant founders, operators, and other contacts who may be able to make an introduction.

    The reseller can then help the founder prioritize the strongest paths and prepare clear introduction requests.

    ## Reseller Workflow

    ### Turn the investor list into meetings

    <Steps>
      <Step title="Connect LinkedIn and Gmail">
        Go to **Settings → Network** and connect both data sources so Metal can identify useful paths to investors.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Identify the strongest connectors">
        Use Metal’s relationship intelligence to prioritize founders who previously raised from the investor, followed by operators and industry contacts who know them.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Prepare introduction requests">
        Use Metal’s in-app agent to identify relevant VC-backed founders and prepare concise introduction drafts for the founder to review.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Build weekly calendar density">
        Track which introductions have been requested, accepted, and converted into investor meetings.
